While land with light vegetation and a low slope averages between $3 and $6 per square foot. Footings and Foundation Footings run from $3 to $7 per square foot. If your land is flat and easy to dig in, estimate closer to $3 and if you live on the steep side of an active volcano, estimate closer to $7. Basement A poured concrete basement averages aproximatly $20,000 added to the cost of the footing.
